MetaMask is a popular cryptocurrency wallet that allows you to manage your Ethereum-based assets, as well as interact with decentralized applications (dApps) on the Ethereum network. However, with the rise of other blockchain networks like Binance Smart Chain (BSC), it has become increasingly important to know how to add other networks to your MetaMask wallet.
In this blog post, we'll be discussing how to add Binance Smart Chain (BSC) to your MetaMask wallet. BSC is a popular blockchain network that is compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), which means that dApps built for Ethereum can also be run on BSC. Adding BSC to your MetaMask wallet allows you to interact with dApps on the BSC network and manage BSC-based assets.

Here are the steps to add Binance Smart Chain to your MetaMask wallet:
Step 1: Install MetaMask
If you haven't already, you'll need to install the MetaMask extension for your browser. You can download the extension from the official MetaMask website: https://metamask.io/. Once you've installed MetaMask, create a new wallet or import an existing one.
Step 2: Switch to the Binance Smart Chain network
By default, MetaMask is configured to use the Ethereum mainnet. To switch to the Binance Smart Chain network, click on the network dropdown menu in the top right corner of the MetaMask extension and select "Custom RPC" at the bottom of the list.
Step 3: Configure the Binance Smart Chain network
In the Custom RPC screen, you'll need to enter the network details for the Binance Smart Chain network. Here are the details you'll need:
Network Name: Binance Smart Chain
New RPC URL: Chain ID: 56
Symbol: BNB
Block Explorer URL:
Once you've entered these details, click "Save" to save the new network configuration.
Step 4: Add the Binance Smart Chain wallet to MetaMask
Now that you've added the Binance Smart Chain network to MetaMask, you'll need to add a new wallet for BSC-based assets. To do this, click on the three dots next to your Ethereum wallet in the MetaMask extension and select "Add Token".
In the Add Token screen, select "Custom Token" and enter the following details:
Token Contract Address: 0xbb4CdB9CBd36B01bD1cBaEBF2De08d9173bc095c
Token Symbol: BNB
Decimals: 18
Click "Next" to add the Binance Smart Chain wallet to MetaMask. You should now see your Binance Smart Chain wallet alongside your Ethereum wallet in the MetaMask extension.
And that's it! You've now added Binance Smart Chain to your MetaMask wallet and can manage BSC-based assets and interact with dApps on the BSC network. Remember to switch back to the Ethereum mainnet if you want to interact with Ethereum-based assets and dApps.
